Lohr on the river Main is a lovely small town with many half-timbered houses. This is the starting point of the Motorhome Tour along Germany’s Romantic Road. According to the people of Lohr Snow White lived between the towns of Lohr and Bieber in the Spessart region. Believe this or not, the town is a fairytale!
Lovely cafes at the Elisa Fountain (Elisenbrunnen). It is the symbol of the spa town of Aachen. Constructed in 1827 it served as a drinking and promenading hall and it is still possible to try the healing thermal waters from this fountain.
